RESTORING HISTORY
OUR MISSION
Dedicated to the restoration of the historic Mariners Lodge in Round Pond, Maine, we believe in the importance of preserving a midcoast landmark and in the power of community. Instituted in 1875 as the International Order of the Odd Fellows Lodge #53 , the building has been used as a community gathering space since its inception. As stewards of this soon to be 150 year old building in 2025, we are committed to restoring the Mariners Lodge so that it continues to benefit the community of Round Pond as both a historic landmark and community space.
OUR INITIATIVES
Community Engagement
As a community-focused organization, we seek to identify opportunities to support local needs through our Community events and the Arts.
Join us in creating a vibrant
community space.
Historical Preservation
By preserving this piece of Maine's architectural history, we value and promote the stories of those individuals who built, lived, or worked here. By linking the past to the present through archival materials and historical papers, we celebrate the past and honor the community.
Economic Growth
Through our Economic Driver initiative, we plan to serve the overall health of Round Pond and the larger midcoast community by contributing to the beauty of our area and by creating a tangible connection with the community's history and culture.
